The Meeting of the Committee for Monitoring Work Progress and Community & Environmental Development

On December 20, 2024, Ratchaburi-EEP Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. (R-EEP) held the third meeting of the Committee for Monitoring Work Progress and Community & Environmental Development for the waste-to-energy power plant (Meeting No. 3/2024). The meeting was honored by the presence of Mr. Chaloem Prasatthong, the Provincial Local Administration Officer of Samut Prakan, as the chairman.

This meeting was part of a series of ongoing sessions initiated by R-EEP to ensure compliance with the Code of Practice (COP) requirements of the waste-to-energy power plant project, as committed to the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC). The primary focus was on safety standards and environmental quality within the community.

The committee consists of four key sectors: government agencies, academia, the local community, and the private sector (the company). Its main mission is to monitor the company’s compliance with established regulations and oversee corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities in alignment with the company’s action plans.
